What's with the Rainbow Colors?

 

Science has studied and come to understand the when, where and how's of the formation of the Rainbow. No matter if one has researched this or not; we, as humans, enjoy the beauty of the colors in this delightful Arch of raindrops.

 

The Rainbow first appeared in the bible as a covenant from God to Noah and all living creatures on Earth. Some may argue this because they do not have the same faith as those who believe in the Christian and Hebrew Books. Whether you believe it or not doesn't take away from the fact that the Rainbow exists and it's colors are symbolic not just to the Bible believers but to other cultures as well.

The Rainbow colors have meaning to God and to humans. For instance, the cultures who believe in the Auras; chakras/seven centers of spiritual energy of the Human body, follow the color scale of the 

Rainbow. Christians consider the colors of the Bow as God's symbolic meaning to the Heavenly realm and earthly kingdom. 

Their is a community of people around the world who also use the Rainbow colors as symbolic in their own culture and they are the LGBTQIA+. The colors that have been used to describe their sexual orientations started with the seven colors of the Rainbow with hot pink added and later went to the six color flag they use today (tapping out the color Indigo).

To sum it up:

These colors do have meaning. When we look around our world, weather it be North or South of the Equator, we see these colors in the creation of life. They are in the sky, growing from the ground, walking, crawling, climbing, swimming and flying. They are the colors of the Artist who created us and all that is around us. Although their are more colors on the spectrum of the Bow, it is said our eyes can not see them.

It isn't hard for me to understand how the symbolism of these colors became distorted in one way or another because the world is thousands of years old. We have lived for Millennium on this earth with thousands of different languages, thousands of different cultures. 

Today, in our time of history, we get to see more than any other generation has in a long time. We have knowledge on a grand scale of things and yet we are none the wiser for it. 

This makes me ask........Is there something more at play today than the reality of cultures and their beliefs about the colors of the Rainbow? Is there a grander Entity or Entities behind the Vail somewhere that we have become blind to because we choose to use the Rainbow as a symbol of our own belief systems? 

Genesis 6: 12-15

 12And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. 14And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: 15And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
